Stand with us to say Every Refugee Matters

Refugees and asylum seekers are people like you and me who have been forced to leave their home behind, take dangerous journeys, and put their life on the line as an absolute last resort.

The government has announced an overhaul of the asylum system.  As they do, we urge them to stand by the important principles below that must guide how we treat people who are seeking refuge in the UK:

We believe that every refugee matters. Refugees have experienced the worst challenges in life – but together, we can show the very best of humankind. We want to see a more compassionate and effective way to support refugees.

  • We’re calling on you to add your name and stand with us to say:

    • I believe every refugee matters.
    • I believe every refugee should be able to find safety.
    • I believe every refugee should have a home.
    • I believe every refugee should have the support they need.
    • I believe every refugee should be able to have their loved ones with them.
    • I believe every refugee should be able to rebuild their life and contribute to society.
  • By providing us with your e-mail address when you sign this pledge, you consent to receiving emails containing stories and podcasts from refugees. You can unsubscribe from these at any time. If you'd like to hear more about our work in other areas, please give us your explicit consent below.
